Sleep Center

Sleep is a necessity. Research shows that most of us need about eight hours of good quality sleep a night to rest our bodies and refresh our minds, so we can perform at our best. And, of course, people simply enjoy a good night’s sleep.

The Glenwood Regional Medical Center Sleep Center specializes in diagnosing and treating people having sleep problems. All patient rooms have been recently remodeled with very comfortable bedding for a good night sleep.

Sleep Studies are performed Sunday through Thursday. If you have been scheduled for a Sleep Study, you will come in the night of your study at 8:00 PM to become accustomed to the environment. You will go to bed at your regular bedtime – about 10:00 PM for most people. You will be wakened at 6:00 AM the next morning – it can be earlier if you request.

The results of your study will be available from your private physician after being interpreted by a Sleep Certified Physician.

We also now offer sleep studies in the home. This is a more convenient option for patients who cannot access our Sleep Center. These home sleep studies are qualified by your specific Sleep Disorder as well as your insurance providers recommendation.
